Brown Note Transformer Set custom wound by Heyboer for bigger, tighter lows and smoother highs. Dual High voltage taps at 290v & 215v accommodate a full power / brown power switch that drops the B+ by 100V simulating a variac effect, and dropping output to about 10 watts. The 215v taps are also well suited for use with for alternate power tubes such as 6BQ5, ELL80, EL91, EL95 etc. if a low power amp in the 3-7w range is desired.
