Great project / prototyping chassis for compact tube amp designs. This sturdy .080" aluminum chassis with integral mounting hardware, is the platform for 18W & 36W versions of the; 18 Watt Lite, Foxy 18, Dirty 18, TMB SuperLite, 2061X, EF86 Lite, 2204 Lite, EL84/6V6 Dissimilar "Cascode", and whatever other variants you can think of. The chassis is punched for: (7) 3/4" 9-pin sockets, (1) Octal socket, (1) Can Cap, Oversize cutout for 18/36W Power Transformers on 2-1/2" x 3-1/8" mounting centers, and 18/36W Output Transformer on 3-9/16" mounting centers will accommodate popular transformers from various manufacturers. The front panel can be laid out with up to 7 forward facing controls and two inputs, or two independent channels each with 2 hi/lo inputs, volume & tone controls. The rear panel is punched for IEC power receptacle, Fuse, Speaker Impedance selector, Half Power switch, and (2) speaker outputs. The chassis fits both styles of Brown Note 18/36 & Foxy Brown head cabinets. |
